| Make sure the record safety tab is intact. If not, cover the | |

| hole with adhesive tape before inserting the cassette. | |

| Press SP/EP to set the recording speed. | |

| START RECORDING |

| Press REC and PLAY on the remote control together, | |

| or press REC on the VCR's front panel. | |

| of both the first SP and the first EP recording after |

| inserting the cassette (☞ pg. 23). |

Accidental erasure prevention
●To prevent accidental recording on a recorded cassette, remove its record safety tab.
To record on it later, cover the hole with adhesive tape.
