TV Multi-Brand Remote
Control

In addition to controlling several functions on JVC remote control TVs, the VCR's remote control can control these functions on the TV brands listed below.

Before you start . . .
●Turn the TV’s power on using its remote control.
●Set the remote control’s TV/CABLE/VCR switch to TV.

| Refer to the chart below. While holding down POWER, | |
|
| enter your TV’s brand code using the NUMBER keys, | |
|
| then press STOP. | |
|
|
| ● You don’t have to repeat this step until you replace |
|
|
| your remote control’s batteries. |
|
|
| ● PANASONIC has two codes. If the TV does not |
|
|
| function with one code, try entering the other. |

| Press POWER on the remote to turn off the TV’s power. | |
|
| If it comes off, try other operations. | |
|
| ● The POWER, TV/VIDEO, CH5°, VOL +/– and | |

| NUMBER keys on the remote can all be used to |

|
| operate the TV. *Depending on the brand, the TV |
|
|
| channel may not change unless you press ENTER |
|
|
| after having pressed the NUMBER keys. |
|
|
| ● To return the remote to VCR control, set the TV/ |
|
|
| CABLE/VCR switch to VCR. |

Depending on the kind of TV, there may be cases where some or all functions cannot be operated using the remote control.
