MP3 Playback

MP3 is a method of compressing files. You can copy MP3 files on CD-R/RWs from the computer and play the files on this unit.

DVD

Insert an MP3-format disc, then the file list will automatically appear on the TV screen. Press [MENU] when you want to call up the file list again while MP3-format disc is already inserted.

Press [s] when you want to go back to the previous hierarchy (except for the top hierarchy).

Hint

Some selections may take a while to be recognized.

Press [TOP MENU] to return to the first item.

Folders are known as Groups; files are known as Tracks.

Folders and MP3 are displayed respectively as and 3 .

A maximum of 255 folders or 999 files may be recognized in one disc.

Up to 8 hierarchies can be recognized in one folder. File in the 9th or deeper hierarchies cannot be played back.

This player recommends the files recorded under the following circumstances:

Sampling frequency: 44.1kHz or 48kHz

Constant bit rate: 32kbps ~ 320kbps

For MP3 file recorded in Variable Bit Rate(VBR), the unit may not display the actual elapsed time.

Refer to “Resume” on page 15.

You can check the information about the current disc by pressing [DISPLAY] on the remote control.
