GETTING STARTED

Start playing

1.Press the Play button Ato start playing the disc.

2.If the disc inserted is a DVD disc, the title menu can be selected for playing or various special playing functions can be selected depending on the con- tent of the disc.

3.If the disc inserted is a VCD disc with PBC function, the menu will appear on the screen and the operation can be done according to the instructions in the menu or the “PBC” button can be pressed to remove the PBC func- tion and to play directly.

4.If the VCD disc does not have PBC function or if the disc inserted is an ordi- nary music CD, the entire disc will be played directly.

Pausing a disc

1.With DVDs and Video CDs, you can pause the playback on a still frame by pressing the Pause button I.

2.Pressing the Pause button while playing Audio CDs, MP3s or WMAs, this will mute the sound and hold the play position.

3.Press the Play button Ato resume normal playback.

Stop playing

1.Press the Stop button Jto stop the playback of the disc.

2.After the Stop button has been pressed, the CyberHome splash screen will be displayed on the screen with Audio CDs, DVDs and Video CDs. The stop

point is now saved and you can resume playback by pressing the Play but- ton A.

3.Pressing the Stop key Jtwice will reset the play position to the beginning of the disc.

Removing a disc

Press the Open/Close button Kon the front panel or on the remote control. The screen display indicates “Open”, the tray opens and you can remove the disc.

Switching off the power

After pressing the button “ON/STANDBY” on the front panel or the button “POWER” on your remote control, the device will go into standby mode. In order to switch the device completely off, please remove the power cord from the wall socket.
