Changing audio/subtitle language is not possible.

●The disc does not contain audio/subtitles in multiple

languages.

]With some discs, the language should be set on the disc menu. ( pg. 31)

The subtitles do not appear on the TV screen.

●The disc does not contain subtitles.

●The subtitle display is set to off.

]Set the subtitles display to on. ( pg. 34)

●A-B Repeat Playback is in progress. ( pg. 33)

]The subtitles recorded around point A-B may not appear.

Angle cannot be changed.

●The scene is not recorded from multiple angles.

Audio/Video Files Playback (DVD deck)

No sound and/or no picture comes out.

●MP3 disc is recorded with the “packet writing (UDF format).” It cannot be played back.

●Check the files if they are playable or unplayable.

Files (tracks) are not played in the recorded order.

●The unit plays the files in the alphabetic order. So, the playback order can vary.

DivX files are played back without sound.

●The unit can play back the MP3 sound for the audio part of the DivX files. Select the proper audio CODEC when making DivX files.

Recording (VHS deck)

Recording cannot be started.

●There is no cassette loaded, or the cassette loaded has had its

record safety tab removed.

]Insert a cassette, or using adhesive tape, cover the hole where the tab was removed.

TV broadcasts cannot be recorded.

●“L-1,” “L-2” or “F-1” has been selected as the input mode. ]Set to the desired channel.

Tape-to-tape editing is not possible.

●The source (another video recorder, camcorder) has not been properly connected.

]Confirm that the source is properly connected.

●All necessary power switches have not been turned on. ]Confirm that all units’ power switches are turned on.

●The input mode is not correct.

]Set the input mode to “L-1,” “L-2” or “F-1.”

Camcorder recording is not possible.

●The camcorder has not been properly connected. ]Confirm that the camcorder is properly connected.

●The input mode is not correct.

]Set the input mode to “L-1,” “L-2” or “F-1.”

“” and “” on the front display panel won’t stop blinking.

●The end of the tape was reached during recording.

]The programme may not have been recorded in its entirety. Next time make sure you have enough time on the tape to record the entire programme.
