Stop and pause mode on the DVD deck

When recording, the unit automatically searches for the blank section of the disc no matter where the disc was stopped or paused.

In contrast to VHS tapes, recorded sections on discs cannot be overwritten.

NOTES:

When you turn on the unit next time, press VHS] so that “]” lights off before performing any operations. If it is not done, recording on the DVD deck is not possible.

It is not possible to dub a tape with a copy protection signal.

If there is no remaining recording time left on a DVD disc, the tape automatically stops at that position.

It is not possible to perform other operations like Live Memory Playback. Check the recorded programme on the disc after dubbing.

It is not possible to perform dubbing on the On-Disc Timer programmed disc. Either cancel the disc programming, or use an unprogrammed disc.

If the index code (VISS signal) is found on a tape during One-Touch Expert Dubbing, a single title is created. While creating a title, the dubbing stops. Dubbing starts again once the title is created. When a tape contains multiple VISS signals, separate titles are created for each VISS signal.

During still picture on the VHS deck, the images may jitter, but this is not a malfunction.
