Parental Control Settings

Parental Control Rating

Blocks playback of rated DVDs based on their content. Not all discs are rated.

1Press SETUP.

2Select “LOCK” > “Rating”.

3Enter your password using the 0-9 keys.

•If this is your first visit, you will be prompted to enter and verify your

“New Password”.

4Select the desired Rating from “1(Kids)” to “8(Adult)”, then press EN- TER.

•Choose “No Limit” to disable the Parental Control feature.

•Playback of discs that exceed the set rating will be blocked unless you enter the correct password.

Changing the Password

Changes the Parental Control password.

1Press SETUP.

2Select “LOCK” > “Set Password” >

“Change”.

3Enter your old password using the 0-9

keys.

4Enter your new password.

5 Re-enter your new password.

Country Code

Selects the country whose standards were used to rate the disc.

1Press SETUP.

2Select “LOCK” > “Area Code”.

3Enter your password using the 0-9

keys.

4Enter the desired Country Code from the list on page 56.
