Record Settings

Disc Record Mode

Sets the default quality for DVD recording.

1Press SETUP.

2Select “RECORD” > “Disc Record Mode”.

3 Choose from the following: XP (best) – 1 hour/disc SP (better) – 2 hours/disc LP (good) – 4 hours/disc EP (fair) – 6 hours/disc

VCR Record Mode

Sets the default quality for VCR recording.

1Press SETUP.

2Select “RECORD” > “VCR Record Mode”.

3 Choose from the following: SP (good) – 2 hours/tape SLP (fair) – 6 hours/tape* * when using a T-120 tape

DV Record Audio

Sets the audio track to record when dubbing from a DV camcorder connected to the front DV input.

1Press SETUP.

2Select“RECORD” >“DV Record Audio”.

3 Choose from the following: Audio 1 – Records original audio. Audio 2 – Records overdubbed audio.

Auto Chapter Marking

Enables automatic chapter marking at regular intervals during DVD recording.

1Press SETUP.

2Select “RECORD” > “Auto Chapter”.

3 Choose from the following:

OFF – Disables auto chapter marking.

5 Min, 10 Min – Creates chapters ev- ery 5 or 10 minutes during recording.
