EQ-3212, EQ-2151 specifications

Furman Sound has long been recognized as a leader in audio quality and innovation, providing professionals in various fields with the tools they need to achieve exceptional sound. Among its extensive range of products, the EQ-3212 and EQ-2151 equalizers stand out as vital components for audio engineers and sound technicians seeking to enhance their sound quality in live and studio settings.

The EQ-3212 is a 31-band graphic equalizer, designed to give users precise control over their audio spectrum. It features a highly flexible 1/3-octave frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, making it perfect for fine-tuning specific frequencies that may need attenuation or boosting. The EQ-3212 is built with high-grade components, ensuring low noise and minimum distortion. With its intuitive controls and clear LED indicators, sound engineers can quickly dial in their desired settings, whether adjusting for a live performance or mixing in a studio.

Another standout feature of the EQ-3212 is its dual-channel operation, which allows for stereo equalization. Each channel includes independent controls, enabling users to tailor their sound across left and right speakers. The inclusion of both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch inputs/outputs ensures compatibility with nearly any audio system. This flexibility is crucial for both touring professionals and venue installations.

On the other hand, the EQ-2151 is a 15-band graphic equalizer, offering a more compact design while retaining essential features for effective sound management. With its frequency range spanning from 31.5 Hz to 16 kHz, the EQ-2151 is particularly useful in situations where space is limited but sound quality cannot be compromised. Like the EQ-3212, it features a dual-channel layout, allowing for versatile applications across various audio setups.

Both equalizers are equipped with built-in overload protection circuits to prevent damage from signal spikes. They also utilize high-quality op-amps for improved dynamic range and clarity. The visual feedback offered by their LED metering helps users monitor levels instantly, making adjustments swiftly and accurately.

In summary, the Furman Sound EQ-3212 and EQ-2151 equalizers are designed with professionals in mind. Their advanced features, robust construction, and ease of use make them invaluable tools for achieving superior sound quality, whether for live performances or studio recordings. With these equalizers, users can enhance their audio experience and deliver performances that truly resonate with audiences.
