Index Search

Index Search will fast-forward or rewind a specific number of Index Marks from 1 to 99.

When it reaches the desired Index Mark, it will play the tape. Use Index Search when you know the exact Index Mark you want to locate.

1 Open “Search Menu”

From Stop or Play mode, press Search/ Index.

2 Select “Index Search/Scan”

Press 1.

Enter a number from 1 to 99; i.e. press “0-5” for “5”.

4 Search for Index Marks

Press FF or Rewind to begin searching for Index Marks forwards or backwards. When the VCR locates the Index Mark, it will play the tape.
