Using the OnScreen Menu

Blocking and Unblocking Movies by Rating

A channel may sometimes broadcast movies that are meant to be viewed by children, and at other times broadcast movies meant to be viewed by mature viewers. You may not want to block the channel completely using a channel lock, but you may wish to block certain movies from being viewed.

When you only want to block certain content, you can use the TV’s Rating Block feature to block movies based on their rating.

To block or unblock movies by their rating:

1. Press the MENU button on the remote (or the MENU control on the TV). The on-screen menu is displayed.

2.F(5"8$5"Left/Right Arrow buttons on the remote (or the - / + controls on the TV) to highlight the Settings icon and press OK. The TV Settings menu is displayed.

3.F(5"8$5"Up/Down Arrow buttons on the remote [,-"8$5"bI"c".,&8-,<(",&"8$5"#/d"8,"$*)$<*)$8"Parental Controls and press OK.
