Connecting to an analogue satellite receiver and a video recorder

• Connect one SCART cable between the TV set and the TV

With Video recorder

SCART socket on the Mediamaster.

 

• Connect one SCART cable between the TV SCART socket on

 

the analogue satellite receiver and the SAT SCART socket on

 

the Mediamaster.

VCR

 

• Connect one SCART cable between the video recorder and the VCR SCART socket on the Mediamaster.

• Connect the RF cable from the RF output on the video recorder to the TV aerial input on the TV.

• Connect the ordinary TV aerial directly to the RF input socket on the video recorder (TV if no VCR).

In order to switch the signal from the dish between the ana- logue and digital receivers, you need a Nokia Smart priority switch (at A B in the diagram).

Connect the coaxial cable between output A on the NOKIA Smart priority switch (accessory) to the LNB socket on the analogue receiver.

Connect the coaxial cable between output B on the NOKIA Smart priority switch (accessory) to the LNB socket on the Mediamaster.

The analogue receiver must switched OFF when you want to watch channels from the Mediamaster.

Without a VCR, you should connect as shown in the diagram to the right.

Preparing the remote control

• Remove the cover on the battery compartment at the bottom of the remote control handset.

• Insert the 2 x AAA (1,5 V) batteries, as shown in the diagram, taking care to observe the + and - markings indicated inside.

• Replace the cover.
