Time Zone – Setting the correct Time Zone for your area will ensure that the correct program times are shown after pressing the Guide button on the remote control.
Press the DOWN arrow button 
and the TIME ZONE category is highlighted. Select using the 
or 
arrow buttons. If finished, use the EXIT button to remove the OSD.
Select CABLE/AIR/AUTO to choose your DTV source. Select “AUTO” if you are not sure what type of source you are using.
Scan – Automatically scans for all of the digital TV channels available and stores the information in memory.
Press the DOWN arrow button 
to highlight AUTO SCAN. Press the OK button to activate. NOTE: This will take several minutes to complete.
Once Auto Scan has finished, press the Exit button to return to the previous menu. NOTE: If you press OK, the Auto Scan process will start again.
Note: You will not get as many Digital cable channels as your Setup Box will have. The channels you will receive are clear QAM through your local cable provider.
