SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The lightning flash inside a triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of "dangerous voltage" within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute risk of electric shock.

The exclamation point inside a triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions.

Read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture. Do not expose the product to dripping or splashing liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on top of the product.

CAUTION: To prevent electric shock, make sure the AC adapter is fully inserted into an AC outlet, extension cord, or surge protector. Match the wider of the two vertical prongs on the adapter with the wider slot in the outlet.

CAUTION: The product uses a laser. To prevent direct exposure to invisible laser radiation, do not open the cabinet. Do not stare into the laser beams. Use of any controls, adjustments, or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

Power Sources

This product operates using the supplied AC adapter, car adapter and rechargeable batteries.

Make sure that the input voltage printed on the AC adapter is the local voltage. In the United States, it should 120 volts.

To avoid electrical shock, do not touch the AC adapter with wet hands.

When connecting with car adapter (cigarette lighter), be sure the input voltage of the adapter is identical to the car voltage (12 volts DC).

If the product will not be used for a long time, unplug the AC adapter and remove the rechargeable batteries

To unplug the AC adapter, hold and pull on the adapter, not the cord.
