1STANDBY/ON - Turns the player on or off.The light is off when the player is running and lit up when the player is switched off (in stand-by mode).

2OPEN/CLOSE - Opens and shuts the disc tray.

3STOP - Stops playing a disc.

4PREV - Skips back to the beginning of the chapter (DVD) or of the track (CD) during playback, or to the beginning of the previous chapter or track.

5NEXT - Plays the next chapter (DVD) or track (CD).

6PLAY - Plays a disc, and shuts the tray if it is open.
