PREPARATION FOR USE

CABLE CONNECTIONS

VHF/UHF COMBINED ANTENNA

The VHF/UHF Rod Antenna (not supplied) is detachable. Push the stem of the antenna into the hole which is located on the upper back cabinet of the unit. Connect the VHF/UHF Rod Antenna or VHF/UHF Combination Antenna to the ANT. terminal of the TV/VCR as shown in the diagram below.

For the best reception, extend the VHF/UHF Rod Antenna fully and adjust its position. (Avoid handling the top section when making adjustments.)

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

1)Open the battery compartment cover by pressing the cover on the remote unit in the direction of the arrow.

2)Insert 2 "R6/AA/SUM-3" penlight batteries into the battery compartment in the direction indicated by the polarity (+/-) markings.

3)Replace the cover.

EXTERNAL INPUT MODE

When using an external input signal (another VCR or camcorder), connect the player’s audio/video output cables to the AUDIO/VIDEO

socket of your TV/VCR.AUX Then press CHANNEL or

button or enter "00" with number button so that "AUX" appears on the screen.
