Time Search is set up to 9 hours 50 minutes (9:50) by 10 minutes at a time.
This function is not operative in recording mode. Counter Memory function is not operative in this mode.
This function is not operative when a cassette tape is not inserted in the TV/VCR.

SEARCH

.Make sure . . .

. You must use the remote control for the following steps.

. Power must be turned on. Insert a tape.

COUNTER MEMORY

This feature can be used to memorise a beginning point that you want to review. And you can search it easily by rewinding or fast forwarding.

.NOTE:If the counter is not displayed, the Counter Memory will not be activated. Press COUNTER MEMORY button so that the counter appears on the display.

1 Stop a tape at your desired point

Rewind or fast forward the tape to the beginning point

2 Reset the counter to 0:00:00

Press COUNTER RESET button.

3 Select the Counter Memory mode

Press COUNTER MEMORY button so that "MEMORY" appears on the display.

MEMORY 0:00:00

4 Begin recording or playback

Press REC or PLAY button.

Press STOP button when recording or playback is completed.

5 To activate the Counter Memory

Press REW (or F.FWD) button. The tape will automatically stop when the counter returns to 0:00:00

TO CANCEL THE COUNTER MEMORY

First, have the TV/VCR appear on the counter of the TV screen, then press COUNTER MEMORY button so that "COUNT"

appears on the TV screen.

TIME SEARCH

The Time Search function makes it possible to quickly advance the tape to your desired position from any position by entering the exact amount of playback time of the part that you want to skip.

In the example below: To watch a program after 2 hour 50 minutes from present position to forward direction.

1 Select "TIME SEARCH" mode

Press TIME SEARCH button

2 Enter your desired time

TIME SEARCH

Press C/P or button2:50 repeatedly until your desired time

is appeared. (Example: "2:50" for 2 hours 50 minutes)

3 Begin Time Search

Press REW or F.FWD button. The tape will move to the specified point.

The time counts down as the searching progresses. When 0:00 is reached, the tape will start playback automatically.

TO CANCEL THE TIME SEARCH

Press STOP button on the TV/VCR or the remote control. This will delete the selected time.
