Preparing Your LCD HDTV for Wall Mounting

The VIZIO GV47L FHDTV20A can either be kept on the stand base or mounted on the wall for viewing. If you choose to mount the GV47L FHDTV20A on the wall, please follow the instructions below for removing the stand base.

To remove the stand base

Unplug all of the cables and cords from your GV47L FHDTV20A.

Place the GV47L FHDTV20A face down on a soft and flat surface (blanket, foam, cloth, etc) to prevent any damage to the TV.

Pull the stand cover off by squeezing the sides to release the retaining plastics tabs.

Remove the six (4) screws (screws’ specs: M5, 1.0 Pitch, 15mm) so that the stand base can be removed.

Gently remove the stand base.

Now, the GV47L FHDTV20A can fit securely to a mount (sold separately) by utilizing the mounting holes in the center of the back panel of the TV. Please make sure to read the instructions of your specific mount to properly hang the GV47L FHDTV20A.

The pitch of the mounting holes is 630mm horizontally and

200mmvertically. The screw type required is metric M8, 1.25mm pitch. The maximum length of the screws will be 18mm.
