Using the Game Mode feature

You can use the Game Mode feature for shorter frame delays when playing a video game requiring split-second timing between the on- screen display and input from the controller (such as music creation and high-action games).

To turn on Game Mode:

Press GAME. The TV will switch to the Game Mode when the on- screen display closes.

Note:

If you adjust the volume or make any other adjustments that cause a menu or on-screen control panel to display, the Game Mode will be temporarily suspended until the on-screen display closes.

To turn off Game Mode:

You can change the video input in any of the following ways:

¥pressing INPUT.

¥changing the channel using the Number buttons or CH .

Using the Auto off feature

When the Auto off feature is set to On, the TV will automatically turn itself off after approximately 15 minutes if it is tuned to a vacant channel or a station that completes its broadcast for the day. This feature does not work when the Blue screen mode is set to Off.

To activate the Auto off feature:

1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the Special menu appears.

2.Press ENTER, and then press y or z to highlight Auto off.

3.Press ENTER, and then press y or z to Select On.

To deactivate the Auto off feature:

Select Off in step 3 above.

Displaying on-screen information

Press DISPLAY to display the following information on-screen:

¥Channel number or Video mode selected

¥Stereo or SAP audio status

Understanding the last mode memory feature

If the power is cut off while you are viewing the TV, the Last Mode Memory feature turns on the TV automatically when the power is resupplied.

If the power is going to be off for a long time and you are going to be away from your TV, unplug the power cord to prevent the TV from turning on in your absence.
