Learning about the remote control

The buttons used for operating the TV only are described here. For a complete list of the remote control’s functions, see the remote control functional key chart (page 23).

Note: The error message “NOT AVAILABLE” may appear if you press a key for a function that is not available.

POWER turns the TV on and off. When the TV is

 

on, the green LED indicator on the TV front will be

 

illuminated.

FREEZE freezes the picture. Press again to restore the

 

moving picture (page 41).

SLEEP accesses the sleep timer (page 50).

PIC SIZE cycles through the picture sizes: Natural,

 

TheaterWide 1/2/3, Full, 4:3 HD, Native and Dot by Dot

 

(page 39-40).

Channel Numbers (0–9, –/100) directly tune channels.

 

The

button is used to tune digital channels (page

 

38) or to edit the Favorites List (page 36).

INPUT selects the video input source (page 34).

CH pq cycles through programmed channels when no
