Using the TV’s features

Selecting the woofer internal/external mode

1 Press M, then press Y or y to display the SET UP menu.

3 Press < or > to select Woofer, then press Y or y to select Internal or External.

Internal is to use the bass boost.

External is to use an external woofer system.

Using the bass boost

1 Select the woofer Internal mode as shown above.

2 Press t to display Bass boost level.

3 While the Bass boost display is on the screen, press Y or y to adjust the Bass boost level.

4 To turn off the Bass boost, press t to display Bass boost Off.

Note:

The Bass Boost effect is active only when the sound outputs from the speaker or an external woofer system.

Using an external woofer system

Connect an external woofer to the WOOFER output terminal located on the rear of the TV (- page 25).

1 Select the woofer External mode from the AV connection menu.

2 Press t to display External Woofer level, then press

Yor y to adjust the External Woofer level.

3 To turn off the External Woofer, press t to display External Woofer Off.

Selecting the audio output

With the audio output function “Variable”, you can use the TV’s remote controller to adjust the sound volume of the external audio system connected (- page 25).

To select the sound volume from AUDIO OUT terminals:

1 From the AV connection menu, press < or > to select

Audio output.

2 Press Y or y to select Variable or Fixed.

Note:

Make sure the volume control of your audio amplifier is set to a moderate listening level.

Other features settings

Selecting the timer menu

The Timer is especially useful if you want the TV to turn itself on or off after a selected period of time.

1 Press M, then press Y or y to display the TIMER menu.

2 Press < or > to select the required timer mode (Sleep timer (Turn off the TV) or On timer).

The timer display will set by 10 minutes, up to 12 hours and 50 minutes.

3 Press the Number buttons (0-9), Y or y to set the On or Off delay time, e.g. on in 30 minutes and On timer Position 3 selected.

4 Press P to exit the menu. When setting the On timer, press < or > to select the On timer Position and enter the program position number you want to watch. Set the Standby mode by pressing J on the remote control or 1 on the TV.

Activation of the Timer is indicated by the green “On- timer indicator”, on the front of the TV (- page 8).

Notes:

The TV will automatically turn itself off after approximately 2 hours if you do not operate the TV after turned on by on timer function.

If you press and hold Y or y to set the On or Off delay time, the timer display will set by 30 minutes, up to 12 hours 30 minutes.
