Connecting your TV

Connecting an analog audio system

This connection allows you to use external speakers with an external analog audio amplifier to adjust the sound level.

This connetion is applicable to models 42LX196 and 47LX196 only.

You will need:

• standard audio cables

Analog audio amplifier

LINE IN

TV upper back panel

To control the audio:

2 Turn off the TV’s built-in speakers (-“Turning off the built-in speakers” in the Operating Guide).

Note: To hear sound when using an external audio amplifier, the volume of both the TV and the amplifier must be set to a reasonable listening level.
