Unlocking programs temporarily

1.If you try to watch a TV program that exceeds the rating limits you set, the TV will enter into the program lock mode.

2.If you want to watch the locked program temporarily, press MUTE.

3.Press the Channel Number buttons (0–9) to enter the 4-digit PIN code you stored (see “Entering the PIN code” on page 26).

4.Press ENTER.

If the correct code is entered, the lock mode will be released and the normal picture will appear.

All locking is disabled until the TV is turned off, and will be enabled the next time the TV is turned on.

If the wrong PIN code is entered, the message “Incorrect PIN code” appears. Enter the code again.

Locking channels

With the CH LOCK feature, you can lock specific channels. You will not be able to tune locked channels using the Channel yz or Channel Number buttons unless you clear the setting.

You can lock a maximum of 8 channels. To lock channels:

1.From the LOCKS menu, select CH LOCK.

2.Press x or • to display the CH LOCK menu.

3.Press the Channel Number buttons to enter the channel you want to lock.

Note: You cannot lock the current channel.
