Sound controls

Volume

Press j(S) or j+ (R) to adjust the volume.

Sound Mute

Press konce to turn the sound off and again to cancel.

Bass Boost – to enhance the depth of sound

Press nthen Sor Rto adjust the effect. The difference will only be noticeable on sound with a strong bass. Press nagain to turn Bass Boost off.

1Press MENU and Sor Rto select SOUND.

2Press Q to highlight Bass, Treble or Balance and Sor Rto change the setting.

WOWsound effects

WOW™ gives a rich, virtual surround sound experience from your television’s speakers using the stereo signals being broadcast. If mono sound is broadcast these features will be unavailable.

SRS 3D gives a softer effect to the sound, FOCUS

concentrates the sound and gives the effect of it coming from the centre of the television, TruBass alters the depth of sound.

1Press MENU and select the SOUND menu.

2Use P or Q to highlight WOW then press OK.

4Then press Q to highlight FOCUS and press S or Rto select between On or Off.

5Highlight TruBass and use S or Rto select Off, Low or High to suit your preference.

Dual

If a programme or film is being broadcast with a

soundtrack in more than one language, the DUAL feature

allows selection between them.

1Press MENU and select the SOUND menu.

2Use Q to highlight Dual then press S or Rto choose between Dual 1 or Dual 2.

Stable sound®

The Stable Sound feature limits high volume levels and prevents the extreme changes in volume that can occur when channels are changed or a programme switches to a commercial.

1Press MENU and select the SOUND menu.

2Use Q to highlight Stable Sound then press S or Rto select On or Off.
