Connecting a DVD player or satellite receiver and a VCR
This connection allows you to watch DVD/satellite, VCR, or TV programs, and record from the satellite receiver or TV. You can record one TV program while watching another TV program.
Note: If your DVD player has component video connections, follow the connection instructions under “Connecting a DVD player with component video and a VCR” on page 10.
You will need:
•two (or three, if satellite receiver is used) coaxial cables
•one
•one pair of audio cables
•two sets of standard A/V cables

When recording, set Audio Out to FIXED (see “Selecting variable audio OUT” on page 33). With Audio Out set to FIXED, the TV’s volume setting will not affect the sound level being recorded.
