Choosing your preferred language for Subtitles,

Data Services and Audio.

Press the DTV MENU button.

Using Q or P highlight Setup and press SELECT.

With Languages highlighted, press SELECT again.

button, highlight Subtitles,

 

Data Services or Audio.

Using the SorR buttons choose your preferred

 

language. For Subtitles a + sign beside the

 

language indicates extra descriptions, e.g. a door

 

slamming.

Press EXIT when finished.

If your preferred language is not available, English will normally be the default. If there is loss of sound choose English for Audio and EXIT.

Subtitles

If you have chosen a language for subtitles, as above, each time you turn on your TV, subtitles will appear if broadcast. You can turn them off, or on again, by pressing the SUBTITLE button on the remote control.

If you have chosen Off for subtitles, each time you turn on your TV, subtitles will not appear. However, you can turn them on, or off again, by pressing the SUBTITLE button on the remote control.

Within this menu you can choose to Enable Dial Prefix for use in conjunction with a PABX system then set the necessary Prefix Number. For most homes, the Dial Prefix should be set to Disable.

preferences and then press EXIT.

telephone equipment have a Ringer Equivalence

Number – REN –

 

which is used to calculate the number of items

which may be

 

connected to any one telephone line. This TV has a

nominal REN of 1. A total of 4 is

 

allowed. If 4 is exceeded, then

telephones and other equipment may not ring.
