CHANGING SOURCE SETTINGS

CD settings options

To see the CD Settings menu, you must insert a CD into the disc tray before you select the source.

			2-3-5 Speakers	5	Determines the number of speakers playing.
			2-3-5 Speakers	5	Determines the number of speakers playing.

			Surround	0	Establishes relative surround sound volume.
				(-5 to +5)

			Center Channel	0	Establishes relative center speaker volume.
				(-5 to +5)

			Audio Track	DTS	Plays audio tracks in the format specified.
				(Dolby Digital)

			Sleep Timer	Off	Sets system to turn off when the selected
			Sleep Timer	Off	Sets system to turn off when the selected
				(10-90)	time elapses.

DVD settings options

To see the DVD Settings menu, you must insert a DVD into the disc tray before you select the source.

Three features (shown in italic type below) appear in the DVD menu only if you have set Audio Processing to User Adjustable in the Audio options of the System menu.

			Compression	(Off)	and keep some sounds from overwhelming
					others.

			Mono	On	Engages Videostage® 5 mono decoding circuitry
			Decoding	(Off)	to process mono programs (one-channel audio)
					into five-speaker sound.
