The set-up procedure will cancel itself if no keys are pressed for more than 10 seconds in order to protect your code against accidental re-program- ming, and to conserve battery power. It would therefore be helpful to you to understand the required programming steps, before you carry out the actual set-up procedure.

MAGICIAN – UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL

Congratulations! Your Universal Remote Control is a state-of- the-art device, which replaces the main functions of several separate remote controls to operate infra-red controlled televisions (TV), videos (VCR) & satellite receivers (SAT).

Your Universal Remote Control (URC) is pre-programmed in the factory. Simply enter the correct device codes for your equipment and your URC is ready to use. A DEVICE CODE LIST is included in the user’s manual.

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Your URC requires 2 fresh AAA-size (LR03) batteries (alka- line batteries recommended) :-

1.Remove the battery cover on the back of your URC.

2.Insert the batteries ensuring that the polarity corresponds with the markings in the battery compartment.

3.Push the battery cover back in place.

HOW TO SET UP YOUR URC

The 4WAY has 4 Device Modes (TV, VCR, SAT & AUX)

Your URC can be set-up either by entering the appropriate codes from the list of codes supplied or by using the Library search facility. Instructions for the use of both methods follow.
