When you connected an audio system to the ANALOG AUDIO OUTPUT jacks ( page 16): Press / to select “Speaker Setting”, then press OK.
Select one of the followings according to your connection, and press OK.

When a 5.1 channel surround system is connected to this player.
1 Set the speaker sizes, distance to each speaker and the crossover frequency.

Small: Select if the speaker cannot output low frequency.
Large: Select if the speaker can output low frequency.
Center / L Surround / R Surround
Small: Select if the speaker cannot output low frequency.

None: When the speaker is not connected.
Subwoofer
Use: When a subwoofer is connected.
Don’t Use: When a subwoofer is not connected.

Select a distance to each speaker from the listening position. |

2Select “Next”, then press OK.
To cancel to return to the previous screen, select “Clear”, then press OK. To save your selection and finish the setting, select “End”, then press OK.
3Select “Automatic Test Tone”, then press OK. A test signal is set to each speaker.
A loud test sound will be emitted. If you usually listen at a low volume, please take care.
4Adjust each of the volumes by / , selecting
speakers by / so that each speaker can sound at the same volume.
For further adjustment, check the channel balance on the amplifier.
