If the TV seems to have a problem, first try this list of possible problems and solutions. If none of these troubleshooting tips apply, then call your nearest service center.

Poor picture

Try another channel.

 

Adjust the antenna.

 

Check all wire connections.

 

 

Poor sound quality

Try another channel.

 

Adjust the antenna.

 

 

No picture or sound

Try another channel.

 

Press the TV/VIDEO button.

 

Make sure the TV is plugged in.

 

Check the antenna connections.

No color, wrong colors or tints.

Make sure the program is broadcast in color. Adjust the picture settings.

If the set is moved or turned in a different direction, the power should be OFF for at least 30 minutes.

Picture rolls vertically.

Adjust the antenna.

 

Check all wire connections.

 

 

The TV operates erratically

Unplug the TV for 30 seconds, then try operating it

 

again.

 

 

The TV won’t turn on.

Make sure the wall outlet is working.

 

 

Disc does not play.

Ensure that the disc is installed with the label side

 

facing up.

 

Check the region number of the DVD.

 

This player cannot play CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs,

 

CD-R, etc. Insert a DVD, a VIDEO-CD or a CD.

 

 

5.1channel sound is not being reproduced.

5.1channel sound is reproduced only when the fol- lowing conditions are met. :

1) The DVD player is connected with the proper amplifier.

2) The disc is recorded with 5.1 channel sound. •Check whether the disc being played has the

“Dolby 5.1 ch” mark on the outside. •Check if your audio system is connected and

working properly.
