Connecting to the DVD Player or Digital Set-Top Box

Digital Set-Top Box

Connect the RCA Cable to “L” and “R” on the rear of your television and the other end to “Audio Out” connector of the DVD player or Digital Set-Top Box. Connect the RCA Cable to “Y”, “PB”, and “PR” on the rear of your television and the other end to the “Component Video Out (Y, PB, PR)” connectors of the DVD player or Digital Set-Top Box.

If you wish to connect both the DVD player and Digital Set-Top Box, you should connect the Digital Set- Top Box to the “Component1 Input” and connect the DVD player to the “Component2 Input”.

Only black signal is output from a monitor in Componet1 or Componet2 mode.

The “MONIOR OUT” (AUDIO) connectors are used

 

for equipment, such as an audio system (to take full

 

advantage of the Surround sound effect).
