Using the Auto Volume

Each broadcasting station has its own signal conditions, which can make it necessary to adjust the volume every time the channel is changed. “Auto volume” lets you automatically adjust the volume of the desired channel by lowering the sound output when the modula- tion signal is high or by raising the sound output when the modulation signal is low.

Press the MENU button. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to

1 select “Sound”, then press the ENTER button.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select “Auto Volume”,

2 then press the ENTER button.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select “On”, then press

3 the ENTER button.

Pressing the ▲ or ▼ button will alternate between “On” and “Off”.

4 Press the MENU button to exit.
