Safety Instructions

These illustrations represent precautions concerning your set.

Do not expose your set to extreme temperature or humidity conditions.

Do not expose your set to direct sunlight.

Do not expose your set to any liquids.

If your set is broken, do not try to repair it yourself.

Contact qualified service personnel.

During storm conditions (especially when there is lightning) unplug your set from the mains socket and aerial.

Do not plug too many appliances into one socket. (It may cause the socket to

overload, which can result in a fire.)

Do not install the product in a confined space with poor ventilation, such as on a bookshelf or in a closet.

(An increase in internal temperature can be a fire hazard.)

Do not forcibly bend, pull or put a heavy object on the power cord.

(It may cause an electric shock or a fire.)

Do not place the power cord near a heating device. (The protective coating of the cord may melt off, which can cause an electric shock or a fire.)

If the remote control is not used for a long period of time, remove the batteries and

store it in a cool, dry place.

Do not display a still image (such as on a video game or when hooking up a DVD to this LCD TV) on the Color TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transister Liquid Crystal Display) panel for a long time as it can cause screen image retention. This image retention is also known as “screen burn”.

To avoid such image retention, reduce the degree of brightness and contrast of this screen when displaying a still image.

THIS DEVICE IS NOT FOR USE IN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS
