Confirming the Port

The Multiple Display Control uses only “COM1”. This control operates with neither “COM2” nor another port.

To check which port is installed, enter “Control Panel System Device Manager Ports”.

If another port is installed except the “COM1” port, you can change to “COM1” from the “Device Manager” if you’re using Windows 2000 or XP (please refer to the following chapter). For all other operating systems, the change may be made from your PC BIOS Setup.

Use the Exit menu to end the program. The Help menu shows how to use the program and general information about the program.

Changing the Port

The Multiple Display Control uses only “COM1”. This control operates with neither “COM2” nor another port.

You can change the port to “COM1” in Windows 2000 or XP. For all other operating systems, the change may be made from your PC BIOS Setup.

Enter “Control Panel System Device Manager Ports”. And then click the right of mouse to enter “Properties Port Settings Tab Advanced”.

Select “COM1”.

Click the right of mouse!

Select COM1!
