Step 6 Use an appropriate socket or wrench to tighten the mounting bracket fasteners except the mast mount clamp fasteners.

a.Use a 7/16-in socket or wrench to capture the hex head bolt while you tighten the nuts.

b.Do not complete tighten the nuts. Tighten them just enough so the bracket remains positioned but can be moved if necessary.

Mounting the Antenna

Figure 2 shows side and rear view of a typical mast installation. Note that the adjustable bracket is in the top position. Depending on how your mast is configured, you may need to remove one of the mast mount clamps in order to mount the antenna.
