Control Language: MIDI SysEx
Whether using the 1788A’s Ethernet LAN or MIDI ports, MIDI SysEx (system exclusive) strings are used for control.
Direct MIDI Control
In the most basic scenario, a wide range of MIDI devices can be used to control one or more 1788A’s directly through the MIDI interface. For example, you could use a lighting or sound console to control the 1788A’s channel gains and other functions.
