Digital Noise Reduction

If the broadcast signal received by your TV is weak, you can activate the Digital Noise Reduction feature to help reduce any static and ghosting that may appear on the screen.

1Press the MENU button.

Press the ENTER button to select Picture.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Digital NR, then press the ENTER button.

2Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Off, Low, Medium, High, or Auto, then press the ENTER button.

Press the EXIT button to exit.

The Digital NR function is available in all modes except PC.

Off: Switches the Digital NR function off.

Low: Sets Digital NR to low.

Medium: Sets Digital NR to mid range.

High : Sets Digital NR to high.

Auto : Reduces the noise of the picture automatically.

DNIe (Digital Natural Image engine)

This TV includes the DNIe function so as to provide a high visual quality. If you set DNIe to on, you can view the screen with the DNIe feature activated. If you set the DNIe to Demo, you can view the applied DNIe and normal pictures on the screen, for demonstration purposes. Using this function, you can view the difference in the visual quality.

1Press the MENU button.

Press the ENTER button to select Picture.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select DNIe, then press the ENTER button. This function doesn’t work when the Input Source is PC.

2Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Off, Demo, or On, then press the ENTER button. Press the EXIT button to exit.

Off: Switches off the DNIe mode.

Demo: The screen before applying DNIe appears on the left and the screen after applying DNIe appears on the right.

On: Switches on the DNIe mode.

The DNIe function is not supported in the Movie mode. (It is inactivated.)
