Problem

No picture on the screen after selecting a device

“Initializing D-Net” message appears.

“Exceeds the limit of device numbers.” message appears.

“Recordable device is not connected” message appears.

“Not available while recording” message appears

“The connected device is unavailable to perform this function for temporary problems.” message appears.

D-Net cannot record video from analog channels from connected external equipment.

“Not available format is selected.” message appears.

“D-Net cannot record the picture of analog channels or peripheral equipments for the input source, except TV.” message appears.

“The Disc is Empty.” message appears.

Possible Solution

Check if the current mode for DTV and STB is set to analog by mistake. For AV-HDD, check if the played content has reached the end. (Select the item from the content list again.) For D-VHS, check if a D-VHS tape is being used. If the camcorder supports the DV format, no picture will be displayed on the screen.

This message appears when the D-Net function is being initialized.

Retry after a short wait to use the D-Net function.

This message appears when the number of currently connected D-Net devices exceeds 10.

Retry after disconnecting unnecessary devices.

This message appears when the recordable device is not on the network when you try to make a recording using a D-Net device. Retry after connecting a recordable device (D-VHS, AV-HDD).

The message appears informing you that you cannot change the channels or change the input source using the remote control because a recording is in progress through D-Net. Retry after stopping the current recording through D-Net.

This message appears when the selected function is not supported by the relevant device or the relevant device cannot execute the selected function. Most STBs, DTVs and camcorders do not support the power on/off command. This message may appear when you issue the power command for these devices. This message also appears when the command is supported but the relevant device cannot follow the command.

Retry after checking the current mode of the relevant device.

This message appears when the user presses the RECORD button in analog mode.

D-Net only supports recording for digital.

This message appears when the selected device does not support the MPEG format.

At present, D-Net supports MPEG TS only.

This message appears when trying to record analog video or video from a device connected to the External IN port.

D-Net transmits Digital TS only.

This message appears when trying to record the contents of AV-HDD using another device when there is no content saved on the AV-HDD. Before make a recording from an AV-HDD to another device, first check if there is any saved content on the AV-HDD.
