5Press the ▲ or ▼ button to highlight the time zone for your local area (and to move the highlight to the appropriate time zone on the map of the United States), then press the ENTER button.

6Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select DST (Daylight Saving Time), then press the ENTER button. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Off or On, then press the ENTER button. Press the EXIT button to exit.

Depending on the broadcast station and signal, the auto time may not be set correctly. If this occurs, set the time manually.

Air or cable must be connected in order to set the time automatically.

Setting the Sleep Timer

The sleep timer automatically shuts off the TV after a preset time (from 30 to 180 minutes).

1Press the MENU button to display the menu.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Setup, then press the ENTER button. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Time, then press the ENTER button.

2Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Sleep Timer, then press the ENTER button.

3Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select the minute.

Setting the Timer sets the Activation to On automatically.

To cancel the set sleep timer:

Press the ► button to select Activation.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Off, then press the ENTER button. Press the EXIT button to exit.

Press the SLEEP button on the remote control repeatedly until the appropriate time interval appears (any of the preset values from 30 to 180 min.).

Setting the On/Off Timer

Use this feature to set the TV to turn on or off at a desired time. You must set the clock first.

1Press the MENU button to display the menu.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Setup, then press the ENTER button. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Time, then press the ENTER button.

2Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Timer1, Timer2,or Timer3, then press the ENTER button. The timer menu is displayed.

Press the ▲ or ▼ button to adjust Hour, then press the ► button to move to the next step. Set other items using the same method as above.

3Press the ◄ or ► button to select the desired item below. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to adjust the setting.

Press the EXIT button to exit.

On Timer: Select hour, minute, am/pm, and Inactivate/Activate. (To activate timer with the setting, set to Activate.)

Off Timer: Select hour, minute, am/pm, and Inactivate/Activate. (To activate timer with the setting, set to Activate.)

Repeat: Select Once, Everyday, Mon~Fri, Mon~Sat, or Sat~Sun.

Volume: Select the volume level you want the TV to be at when it turns on with the Timer.

Antenna: Select Air or Cable.

Channel: Select the channel you want to come on when the TV turns on with the Timer.

You can set the hour, minute, and channel directly by pressing the number buttons on the remote control.

Auto Power Off

When you set the timer On, the TV will eventually turn off, if no controls are operated for 3 hours after the TV was turned on by timer. This function is only available in timer On mode and prevents overheating, which may occur if a TV is on for too long time.
