Rating Control Menu

Access to channels and programs is controlled by a password (i.e., a 4-digit secret code that is defined by the user).The on-screen menu will instruct you to assign a password (and you can change it later, if necessary).

How to Change Your Password

Password Error:

If you forget the password, re-do steps 1~3.

At step 4, when the display asks you to enter the current password, press the master buttons (INFO, 1, 8, and 2). Enter a new password and proceed with steps 5~6.

The master buttons are available only in the Rating Control menu and cannot be operated during normal viewing. (If the display asks you to enter the password while blocked, the master buttons cannot be operated.)

The Rating Control feature doesn’t operate with D-VHS recordings.

The factory default password is ‘0000’.
