The timer will automatically, at a specific time, turn the TV on, if it is off. It will tune to a channel on:

Ant-A,

Ant-B,

DTV (if optional HD-1080 receiver is connected)

or select:

INPUT-1, 2, 3 (DVD component) or 4.

4. to move to the setting field

7. or

to select another menu item OR

5. or to change the setting

MENU to return to the previous menu OR

6. after making your changes

I M P O R T A N T

The TV’s clock must be set before you can set the timer. If you haven’t set the clock and/or day, you will see the CLOCK Menu instead of the Timer menu.

The timer can be turned On or Off. If you turn On the Timer, you need to select the time to turn on, the day to turn on, the input and the channel to display. Later, if the timer turns the TV on, the message “Press a key for the TV to stay on”, is shown. If you don’t press a button on the remote control or front panel within 5 minutes, the TV will automatically turn off.
