Scan

Your ONE FOR ALL 4 Digital comes with a special SCAN function which lets you “scan” through every Channel available on your Television, Video Recorder or DVD Player, Satellite or Cable Converter.

For example, to scan the programmes on your TV:

MUTE

Aim the ONE FOR ALL 4 Digital at your TV. Press the TV key. Press and release MAGIC then press the MUTE key.

The ONE FOR ALL 4 Digital will send the command to advance through all the Channels available on your Television stopping at each channel for about three seconds. Remember, you must aim the ONE FOR ALL at your device the entire time you are using Scan.

When you find a channel you would like to watch, simply press

any key to stop the SCAN feature.

Important notes:

-To use SCAN with your Video Recorder or DVD Player, Satellite or Cable converter, follow the same instructions above, only press the VCR or SAT key during step 1.

-SCAN may not function with devices that did not have (a) channel +/- key(s) on the original remote control.

Volume Punch Through

You may be able to use some features of your Television, Video Recorder or DVD Player, Satellite or Cable Converter at the same time. If you're watching a programme on your Video, you can adjust the volume (a TV function) without first pressing the TV key. The chart below lists some of the possibilities:

TV volume up and down, mute

 

 

To punch through to TV volume while in the VCR, SAT or AUX mode:

1Press and hold MAGIC until the red light blinks twice.

2Press 9 9 3.

3Then press the TV key and the red light will blink twice.

To cancel the "Volume Punch Through":

1Press and hold MAGIC until the red light blinks twice.

2Press 9 9 3.

3Press the Volume (+) key and the red light will blink four times.

Note: If the original remote of your Video Recorder or DVD Player, Satellite or Cable converter has its own volume keys, then the “Volume Punch Through” does not work.
