Pause a Live Program or a Recording
1.Press Pause 
to freeze the action. The Status Bar appears briefly in the Pause position at the bottom of the screen. For programs that you’re watching live, DVR will remain in pause mode for up to 1 hour.
2.Press Pause 
again or press Play 
to resume playing the program.
