The Additional Closed Caption Settings option allows you to customize the

The Additional Closed Caption Settings option is only available when the

 

Closed Captions setting is set to Enabled. Otherwise, the Additional Closed

 

Caption Settings option is disabled and no longer selectable in the menu.

 

 

Subtitle

The Subtitle and DVS Settings option allows you to customize the operation of

Audio/Vide

o Settings

The Advanced Audio/Video Settings option allows you to customize several advanced audio and video features of the DCX3501-M.

Selecting this option will present a new menu screen with settings specific to closed captions, including font style, color, and size. These settings are discussed in more detail below

Front Panel The Front Panel Brightness settings allows you to adjust the brightness level of Brightness the front panel display (clock/channel number and indicator icons) of the

DCX3501-M. The options are used as follows:

High—The front panel display will be at its brightest level. This setting is most useful when using the DCX3501-M in very brightly lit rooms

Normal—The front panel display will be at its default brightness level.

Low—The front panel display will be at its lowest (visible) brightness level. This setting is most useful when using the DCX3501-M in dim or dark rooms.

Off—The front panel display will be turned off completely, including the clock/channel number and all indicator icons. However, the blue backlighting of the front panel Power button will remain illuminated even if the Off option has been selected.

Restore All To reset ALL of the DCX3501-M User Settings to their default values, including

Defaults options stored on other menu screens, move the cursor to this option and press the ► key.
