Press SOUND FIELD repeatedly until “2CH STEREO” appears on the front panel display.

This mode outputs the sound from the front left and right speakers only. Standard 2 channel (stereo) sources completely bypass the sound field processing. Multi channel surround formats are downmixed to 2 channel.

Note

No sound is output from the sub woofer when 2 CH STEREO is selected. To listen to 2 channel (stereo) sources using the front left and right speakers and a sub woofer, press SOUND FIELD repeatedly to select A.F.D..

The level menu contains parameters that let you adjust the balance and speaker volumes of each speaker (page 28).

1 Start playing a program source encoded with multichannel surround sound.

2 Press AMP MENU repeatedly on the remote.

9LEVEL appears on the front panel display.

3 Sit in your listening position and select the item to be adjusted using X/x.

4 Adjust the volume level using C/c.

The adjusted value will appear on the front panel display. If you do not operate the remote for a few seconds, the value turns off and is stored in the system.
