22 Remote Control Buttons

POWER y Button Press to turn on the DVD Player power if the Player is in Standby mode. Or, press to put the DVD Player in Standby mode.

Number Buttons Press to select numbered items in a menu. Details are on page 16.

Press during playback to directly select a Chapter or Track for playback. Details are on page 17.

RETURN / RESUME Button Press to go back to a previous menu. Or, press to continue play- back from the last point at which play stopped.

SYSTEM MENU Button Press to access or remove the menu of the DVD Player. Details are on page 24.

s BopButtons Press to select an item in a menu. Details are on pages 24 and 26.

Press s and B for reverse or forward searching. Details are on page 17. Press p to start slow motion playback. Details are on page 18. Press o to pause DVD playback.

PAUSE k Button Press once to pause playback. Press repeatedly to advance a paused DVD picture one frame at a time (frame-by-frame play- back). Details are on page 18.

STOP C Button

Press to stop Disc playback.

SUBTITLE Button Press repeatedly during playback to select a subtitle language from those available on the current DVD. Details are on page 27.

ZOOM Button Press to select a zoom factor and enlarge the video image during paused or regular playback of a DVD,

Video CD, or Super Video CD (SVCD). Details are on page 28.

REPEAT A-B Button Press to set up Repeat A-B playback, in which a certain segment of the Track or Chapter plays repeatedly. Details are on page 35.

SCAN Button

Press to play the first 10 seconds of each Track or Chapter on a
