Setup Menu

DOWNMIX mode

1.Press the 34 keys to highlight the DOWNMIX item.

2.Press the SELECT key to open its submenu.

3.Enter its submenu by pressing the 2 key.

4.Move the cursor by pressing the 34 keys to highlight the selected item.

-LT/RT

This item will be used only if your DVD player is connected with Dobly Prologic decoder. Meanwhile, the DVD player can send the output of Dobly Prologic signals.

-STEREO

This item will help to downmix the signal of Dobly Digital and DTS into stereo signals directly outputing from L/R port.

- VSS

This function is to make DVD player reproduce virtual surround sound effects.

-OFF

Disable the DOWNMIX mode so that you can setup your speaker system.

5.Press the SELECT key.

6.Press the 1 key and return to the SPEAKER SETUP menu.

D.R.C. (Dynamic Range Compression)

DVD player will compress dynamic range of sound effect output, when you do not want to disturb your neighbours and your famliy in midnight.

1.Press the 34 keys to highlight D.R.C.,

2.Press the SELECT key to open its submenu.

3.Enter its submenu by pressing the 2 key.

4.Move the cursor by pressing the 34 keys to highlight the selected item.

-ON: Enable D.R.C.

-OFF: Disable D.R.C.

5.Press the SELECT key.

6.Press the 1 key to return to the SPEAKER SETUP menu.

Note: This function is not available for some DVD discs.

Center speaker

This function is effective only when DOWNMIX is OFF. When you are using a center speaker, set to CENTER on in the menu.

1.Press the 34 keys to highlight the CENTER item.

2.Press the SELECT key to open its submenu.

3.Enter its submenu by pressing the 2 key.

4.Move the cursor by pressing the 34 keys to highlight the selected item.

-ON: Enable signal output for center speaker.

-OFF: Disable signal output for center speaker.

5.Press the SELECT key.

6.Press the 1 key and return to the SPEAKER SETUP menu.
