Vocal
z You can fade out the original vocal from a karaoke disc.
z Press VOCAL repeatedly to choose different audio modes.
Tip:
– This function and on-screen display depends on the availability of the disc.
Karaoke
z Press KARAOKE repeatedly to access the karaoke menu.
z Press S T to select ‘Karaoke’, ‘Key Shift’, ‘Echo’, ‘Voice Cancel’.
A When ‘Karaoke’ is selected, press OK to set karaoke ‘On’ or ‘Off’.
B When ‘Key Shift’ is selected, press W X to adjust the pitch value between 0 and 14.
This function allows you to adjust the key tone level to match your vocal.
C When ‘Echo’ is selected, press W X to adjust the echo level.
D When ‘Voice Cancel’ is selected, press OK to set voice cancel ‘On’ or ‘Off’.

IMPORTANT!

You have to turn on your TV and set to the correct Video In channel. (See page 16 ‘Finding your viewing channel’).

General Operation

MIC LEVEL

AConnect a microphone (not supplied) to MIC on the front panel of the DVD player.

BPress KARAOKE repeatedly to access Karaoke menu.

ΑKaraoke : Off’ appears on the TV screen.

ÎPress OK to turn ‘On’ or ‘Off’ the karaoke mode.

CLoad a karaoke disc and press PLAY/ PAUSE u.

DAdjust the microphone volume up or down using MIC LEVEL button on the side of the panel of the DVD player.

Tip:

Before connecting the microphone, set the microphone volume to the minumum level to prevent howling.
