Step 2: Connecting to TV

Option 1: Using the Video jack

This connection enables you to view the video playback from this unit. You only need to choose one of the options below to make the video connection.

Helpful Hint:

–It is important to connect this unit directly to the TV in order to enjoy optimum video quality.

Connect a composite video cable (supplied) from the CVBS socket on the main unit to the video input socket (or labelled as A/V In, Video In, Composite or Baseband) on the TV.

Helpful Hint:

–To route the TV’s audio to the speakers, connect an audio cable (not supplied) from the AUDIO IN-AUX sockets to the corresponding AUDIO output sockets on the TV. Press AUX on the remote control when watching the TV programmes.

Option 2: Using the Scart socket

Connect the scart cable (not supplied) from the SCART socket on the main unit to the corresponding SCART input socket on the TV.

Helpful Hint:

–With this connection, you can press TV on the remote control to route the TV’s audio to the speakers.
