STEP TWO: CONNECTING THE SET TOP BOX TO YOUR TV AND/OR VCR
Choose the STEP TWO diagram that matches the cables you prefer.
USING COAXIAL CABLE
(TV ONLY, NO VCR)
Connect one end of the sup- plied coaxial cable to the RF OUT jack on the back of the Set Top Box.
Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the TV’s ANTENNA IN or RF IN jack.
USING COAXIAL CABLE
(TV AND VCR)
Connect one end of the sup- plied coaxial cable to the RF OUT jack on the back of the Set Top Box.
Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the VCR’s ANTENNA IN or RF IN jack.
Connect a second coaxial cable (not supplied) to the ANTENNA OUT or RF OUT jack of the VCR and to the ANTENNA IN or RF IN jack of the TV.

If you have an older model TV and there is no |

place to plug in a coaxial cable, use a balun or |

matching transformer (300 ohm to 75 ohm) obtainable |

at an electronics store. Connect the coaxial cable to |

the transformer and connect the transformer to the |
